FAQ

Do I need a dance partner?

No. Partners are welcome but not required because we rotate our students frequently and we encourage our
Instructors to partner as well.

What do I wear?

Anything comfortable. Flexible shoes are the best, not too much grip and not too slippery. Dance shoes are even better
or any shoe you intend to dance in regularly.

Where can I go dancing?

Excell Dance Centre runs themed social dances and seasonal Balls where you can meet up with friends, share some great
food, a glass of your favourite wine and dance all night long.

Should I do Private Lessons or Group Classes?

Group Classes are great to learn new moves while meeting new friends. Private Lessons are a good option if you prefer a
little more intimacy, a little more special attention and faster results.

Do I need a physical before taking lessons?

Most classes are not very strenuous but when in doubt please consult a doctor before starting any new physical activity.

Do I have to buy a Package to participate in a dance class?

No. You are welcome to pay per class or per lesson. Packages are cheaper and designed to give you the confidence
by the end of the course, to dance that particular style with increased consistency and skill.
